Picture of the week. (week 11)

This is actually taken by me and also edited by me. hehehe! I was actually in the bus on my way to my cousins house and the bus had to go through this road which is kind of uphill and i got to capture this beautiful image of the sky during dusk. God's creations never fail to amaze me. This is my picture of the week because when i look at this picture it always reminds me that your whole entire day or life is not that bad because at one point of time something beautiful is going to happen and its going to make you appreciate life.

Class on week 11.

Empathy is such a strong word. To me personally, its important to have empathy. Its only normal and humane to have empathy, its because we want to feel connected to the people around us I'm pretty sure we don't want to be anti social and just focus on our phones that is quiet emotionless right?

I enjoyed the little chat we had while sitting on the floor with Mr Ezam, i honestly felt that tiny connection with my classmates for the first time in 11 weeks. I really appreciate those kind of things because i love being able to connect to people and feel whatever they are feeling, well thats empathy. I grew up with all kind of people around me, recently my cousin sister who is 5 years older than me was telling her future sister in law about how when both of us were younger she would always look for me when she had a bad day in school or anything she would always share things with me and she was telling her sister in law how much i could understand her and talk sense even though i was 5 years younger than her and she always finds comfort talking to me. It made me feel good knowing that growing up, people all around me are comfortable to talk to me about the things that they are going through. Recently as well someone special told me that after meeting me he actually became more human, he started to show more of his TRUE emotions instead of PRETENDING to be happy just to make people around him happy and also finding happiness by doing that.

Picture of the week (week 10)

This is my picture of the week, this is an A6 sketch book that i bring with me everywhere is go. The reason to why i love bringing this book around with me including my favourite marble pen is because the person who gifted me this book said to me "i never want you to stop drawing thats why i bought you this" and the fact that i want to improve my drawing skills makes me want to draw every tie i'm sitting down waiting for someone. Like in this picture i was waiting for my mom to finish her meeting and instead of usually taking selfies and wasting my mobile data by lingering on social medias, i took out my sketch book and marble pen to draw what i was feeling and what was in my head instead, i swear to god its way more productive than lingering on social media.

Shark Tank review.

Tree teepee.

Honestly i've watched all of the shark tank products and i still can't move on from the tree teepee! Its such an amazing creation. It saves water and money ensuring farmers can grow trees and plats without having to worry about exceeding their budget and wasting money on the amount of water they have wasted by just watering the plants and not conserving the water.

Force connection.

Curves represents passion and passionate and this candle will be monogamy scented because its a passionate / romantic scent.

This is a sad plug because nothing can match with it.

This represents a brave cup because flexing shows that you have muscle which means that you're strong and that shows that you're brave at the same time.

This creative pencil looks likewise because is it designed to sit nicely on an artist's hand while they are drawing because drawing for long hours can get really uncomfortable especially when its just straight.

This is the hardworking clock, it moves 10x faster than the average clock you have.

This is the greedy computer mouse. It can be connected to 5 computers at on go and the amount of clicks it has is insane. Thus its greedy.

Picture of the week (week 9)

I chose this as my picture of the week because GOD DAMMIT this song is LIT AF!!!! I swear to god omg!!! You should really check this song out!! Okay, maybe it might not be the kind of song that you listen to but boo boo, this is thebomb.com! Desiigner is lit!! BRAAA! HAHAH! So........... I picked this picture/song because this whole week, while doing my assignments i was listening to this song and child was it on replay? Fo sure it was! GURL! It gave me the hype and the energy to actually concentrate on my work. As u can probably guess, I'm listening to this song right now while doing my blog because its so lit thats its keeping me up better than coffee does! So, do listen to this song aite! xoxo

Reflection (week 9)

So basically this week, we were told to be "teachers" for a day and review our friends work aka their blogs so that we can praise and criticise them as well. It felt great to praise someone of their good work but i literally felt like shit when i had to criticise my classmates because i might be blunt but only to my close friends but having to openly bring them down BUT to only make them better doesn't feel that good, but if its to make them do a better job than what they did before then I'm definitely down because of course i want to help my peers. I'm in group 5 and i had to do a review on group 6 which is Wenhao, YuYu & MengJing's group while group 4 had to do a review on my group which is group 5. We are told to give 3 bad & 3 good point for each of the member in that group. Scroll down to see what i have written for group 6! For my group which was being reviewed by group 4, i was chosen to have one of the good blogs among my group members, honestly it felt good but not as great because I'm sure that my group members did quiet a great job too, everyone did actually because all of us have the same workload given for each module and i understand their pain, sleepless nights & tiredness so props to everyone of my classmates! But then again theres no excuse to not doing an assignment given for a certain module because all of them are graded and we don't want to disappoint any of our lecturers. Back to me, it feels good HEHEHE! it only feels good because my handwork paid off, I'm glad that my blog impressed group 4 as i did put in effort into doing my work NYEHEHE!

Picture of the Week (week 8)

My picture of the week was actually taken at Jurong aka Tuas. I was having a tiring week from all of the assignments i had to complete for tutorial week so i decided to take a break and go for a drive and ended up going to Tuas. It was scorching hot but it was worth it! I park my car at the highest level of one of the carpark that i was able to access. The wind was unbelievably strong and cold despite the heat. I chose this picture because i realise how much looking at a view from a high angle calms me and makes me feel so much better, its as though as i don't have any worry in this world and i felt like i was on top of the world, it feels amazing to let loose for a while.

Battle Royale movie review.

Battle Royale is such an intense, sick yet fun movie! The fact that it is a norm is crazy, just like purge! But this, you kill to win instead of killing to "purify" yourself. Looking at the movie and the characters, they are all anxious they need to get their mind together and plan something but instead they decided to panic. If i were to be in the movie i would have planned to kill the old guy also known as the teacher because honestly he got on my nerve! such a physico! There are other ways to educate kids to respect elders not to teach them to be violent and end up killing each other?????? What can you learn from that? Exactly, nothing! Honestly, i can't imagine being in the story with my classmates because i fancy all of them so i can't imagine killing anyone. Since i don't quiet have a choice, the first person i'm gonna kill will be Joey. I will try my best to save everyone but i know its impossible so i will save Adam because i want to work together with him, he seems to have tons of hacks and ideas when it comes to this. The peson who will get the lamest weapon should be Joey and she will get a lipstick! HHAHA! I want to get the Heckler koch HK MG4 43 machine gun because its one of the most greatest gun in history! p.s. Joey i love u babe HAHAHA

Picture of the Week (week 7)

You must be wondering, why is there a picture of someone's hand filled with mehendi design. Well, thats hand is my canvas and those are the kind of art that i love doing as well. I picked this picture because honestly the last time i did henna for someone was so long ago and recently my friend asked me if i could do her henna for a wedding she was going to attend, honestly i was quiet afraid but i said yes because its something that i love to do. Eventhough its been so long since i did henna, i realise that i still have the skill. What i learned from it is that once you gain a skill on doing something its almost impossible to forget or lose your skill on how to do it. Never stop learning and gaining knowledge, experience and skills.

Edward de Bono

Edward de Bono is a Maltese physician, psychologist, inventor, author and consultant. He is the founder / creator of lateral thinking, he came across it in 1967. He believes that creativity is a skill that can be learned by everyone even though some people might be better than others but its only normal. He has also dedicated his life to help people from all around the world improve their thinking abilities and creativity skills. Lateral thinking is equivalent to thinking outside of the box and it is known to boost you brain in a lot of way in a sense that you will make smarted decisions faster than before and also the way you see things. He also has courses such as "Six thinking hats method" and thinking tools have been used by top corporations, governments and world leaders but his tools have also been used by school children.

Attempting lateral thinking puzzles!

At first i was so lost and honestly i attempted this for at least 5 times before i actually got the correct answer. It was quiet tough but eventually after a few tries and thinking out of the box, looking at the matches closely its not that hard after all.

This is the cutest, at first i was wondering why is it so but after writing down the number 8 which is so obvious that you just flip the numbers and put it side by side and there eyou go, the number 8 HAHA and also after thinking outside of the box after the 1st puzzle it wasn't that hard because it was all about playing around with the number and turning it around.

I have never laughed so hard in so long and this puzzle made me laugh like mad all by myself after i solve it, i'm pretty sure that this is the right answer because its lateral thinking and not the basic. i'm so used to solving puzzles like this properly that solving it in a different way makes me feel so free and less restricted.

I was quite confused while reading the question but i remember Mr Ezam saying that most of the time the answer is in the question itself and thanks to that i managed to solve it after reading the question over and over again for like i don't know how many times but after realising that the answer was in the question itself made me feel so dimd but smart at the same time! HAHAHA

This last one reminded me of the exercise we had in class and it is so similar! Thanks to the exercise we had in class this one wasn't that tough for me to solve especially after doing 4 lateral thinking puzzles it really opens up your mind to think out of the box. I feel much more clever now being able to look at a lateral thinking puzzle and being able to solve it without thinking for so long.

Picture of the week (week 6)

This week its going to be a bit different, I'm not going to talk about what inspires me. Its been such a tiring week with so much assignments piling up, I'm having my time of the month, everything is all over the place and ever things a blur thus the picture. I've been through worst in my nitec years, i don't know why i'm being super emotional but i'm gonna get through it i just need my weekends to chill and make sure i get all of my assignments done before my weekends so that i'll feel so much better next week and i get to enjoy during my weekends.

Night Fest 16'

This is my mind map for my night fest experience. I went to the S.A.M, National Museum of Singapore, SOTA & Armenian Street (specially to watch BLOCO SG).

These are some of the picture of S.A.M which is the Odyssey, The visual display outside the museum to countdown to the start of Night Fest 16' and the concert band. I was so mesmerised by the visual display on the museum. The second part is the National Museum of Singapore, my favourite was the Into Pulsar by RYF Zaini!! its the sculpture made out of bicycle wheels and it was amazing!! I was quiet scared of the Les Aquamens live project because i have claustrophobia so i can't see anyone being traooed in small spaces and i will always imagine that I'm the one whois trapped inside! But honestly its so cool! I swear to God i won't be able to last for 2 minutes not sure how they can because i'll probably be dead by then. I also went to SOTA to see the Aurora light! It was so beautiful!! they are so creative to use umbrella and make it look so wonderful and amazing! Before going home, i went to Armenian Street to watch Bloco Singapura perform! They are a well known percussion group and i've been following up with them since last year! I didn't thought that i would have so much fun at the night fest honestly its my first night fest experience and i can happily say that its been amazing! the only problem is that i hate crowded places so much even my family and friends had to drag me to geylang bazaar. urgh. So while i was walking all around the night fest, my face was super pissed because it was so humid but i had so much fun! I'm definitely going to start going for night fest every year now despite the fact that its going to be super crowded and humid but i'll live because i wanna appreciate the artworks, i'll do anything for art heheh! its so much fun! i loved my experience there!
