Attempting lateral thinking puzzles!

At first i was so lost and honestly i attempted this for at least 5 times before i actually got the correct answer. It was quiet tough but eventually after a few tries and thinking out of the box, looking at the matches closely its not that hard after all.

This is the cutest, at first i was wondering why is it so but after writing down the number 8 which is so obvious that you just flip the numbers and put it side by side and there eyou go, the number 8 HAHA and also after thinking outside of the box after the 1st puzzle it wasn't that hard because it was all about playing around with the number and turning it around.

I have never laughed so hard in so long and this puzzle made me laugh like mad all by myself after i solve it, i'm pretty sure that this is the right answer because its lateral thinking and not the basic. i'm so used to solving puzzles like this properly that solving it in a different way makes me feel so free and less restricted.

I was quite confused while reading the question but i remember Mr Ezam saying that most of the time the answer is in the question itself and thanks to that i managed to solve it after reading the question over and over again for like i don't know how many times but after realising that the answer was in the question itself made me feel so dimd but smart at the same time! HAHAHA

This last one reminded me of the exercise we had in class and it is so similar! Thanks to the exercise we had in class this one wasn't that tough for me to solve especially after doing 4 lateral thinking puzzles it really opens up your mind to think out of the box. I feel much more clever now being able to look at a lateral thinking puzzle and being able to solve it without thinking for so long.

Picture of the week (week 6)

This week its going to be a bit different, I'm not going to talk about what inspires me. Its been such a tiring week with so much assignments piling up, I'm having my time of the month, everything is all over the place and ever things a blur thus the picture. I've been through worst in my nitec years, i don't know why i'm being super emotional but i'm gonna get through it i just need my weekends to chill and make sure i get all of my assignments done before my weekends so that i'll feel so much better next week and i get to enjoy during my weekends.

Night Fest 16'

This is my mind map for my night fest experience. I went to the S.A.M, National Museum of Singapore, SOTA & Armenian Street (specially to watch BLOCO SG).

These are some of the picture of S.A.M which is the Odyssey, The visual display outside the museum to countdown to the start of Night Fest 16' and the concert band. I was so mesmerised by the visual display on the museum. The second part is the National Museum of Singapore, my favourite was the Into Pulsar by RYF Zaini!! its the sculpture made out of bicycle wheels and it was amazing!! I was quiet scared of the Les Aquamens live project because i have claustrophobia so i can't see anyone being traooed in small spaces and i will always imagine that I'm the one whois trapped inside! But honestly its so cool! I swear to God i won't be able to last for 2 minutes not sure how they can because i'll probably be dead by then. I also went to SOTA to see the Aurora light! It was so beautiful!! they are so creative to use umbrella and make it look so wonderful and amazing! Before going home, i went to Armenian Street to watch Bloco Singapura perform! They are a well known percussion group and i've been following up with them since last year! I didn't thought that i would have so much fun at the night fest honestly its my first night fest experience and i can happily say that its been amazing! the only problem is that i hate crowded places so much even my family and friends had to drag me to geylang bazaar. urgh. So while i was walking all around the night fest, my face was super pissed because it was so humid but i had so much fun! I'm definitely going to start going for night fest every year now despite the fact that its going to be super crowded and humid but i'll live because i wanna appreciate the artworks, i'll do anything for art heheh! its so much fun! i loved my experience there!

Picture of the week (week 5)

I''m pretty sure you must be wondering why out of all the things around me that I can get inspired by, i'm actually inspired by a bag of chips. Thats because whenever I'm having a tough time trying to focus in class, my friends and I will actually go down to the vending machine during kuru given break to get chips and tidbits to keep ourselves focused and awake. The moral of the story on why chips is my inspiration of the week (MY WHOLE LIFE ACTUALLY) is that because at the end of the day when you have noon dot find comfort in and to turn too, your favourite food & tidbits will ALWAYS be there for you no matter what! xx

These are my 10 questions & answers:

1.Q: Why does the surrounding looks abandon?
A: Because of how run down the woods & surrounding looks because of the old atmosphere.
It also gives an old vibe when u look at the picture.

     2.  Q: Why are the acting wild?
A:  Its because they are most probably high on drugs/ weed, not being judgemental but on your
far left u can see a few guys holding a blunt.

     3.  Q: What makes the atmosphere seem chaotic?
A: From the way that they are "posing" which is full of screaming you can tell that they will
literally scream around and not give a sh*t about what you think.

     4.  Q: Why do they look havoc?
A: Because of the way they potray themselves, they look very deadly & unapproachable.

    5.   Q: Why do you say that they have no manners?
A: Looking at how the guys have microphones in their hands & a guitar at the dining table it
just tells so much about them and their manners / table manners.

    6.   Q: How messy is the place?
A: The place is looks worst than a barn.

    7.   Q: Why are they labelled as punks?
A: Because of the way the dress and their hair.

    8.   Q: In what way are they crazy?
A: They are seem as crazy people by commoners because of their character in public in front of
everyone. They like to scream and they are looked down as hooligans who don't get enough
love and attention from their families.

    9.   Q: What makes the place dirty?
A: The graffiti on the wall, the table, the blood stains on the table cloth, wall and how
unorganised the food is on the dining table.

   10.   Q: Why is the scenery from the window appealing/ attractive?
A: Thats because its the only vibrant and positive colour. Despite the focus of the painting
being very vulgar and chaotic, the scenery at the window is showing positive signs.

Tony Fadell vs. Izacc Mizrahi.

                                                               As a PRESENTER.

As a presenter, i feel like I'm more of Tony Fadell because i prefer collecting informations in my head and presenting spontaneously but prepared almost every time i have to do a presentation. It's just much more professional to do so rather than having to present in front of a crowd and holding onto a piece of note to refer too. Also his body language, he loves to make sure he makes eye contact with every single audience in the theatre so make sure that all of them get his attention and vice versa.

                                                                As a THINKER, PERSON & a Designer

As a thinker & as a person honestly, i'm more of Izacc Mizrahi than Tony Fadell because i can relate to him so well, the way he thinks and his perspective is almost similar to mine especially about life and the way he is and was living his life, the fact that he also believes in astrology and fate! omg! HAHAH! I'm also the type of person to go up to a complete stranger just to tell them how amazing their outfit, shoe or even hair looks because I appreciate those people who actually took the time to wake up early i the morning to decide what they want to wear and feel all confident about it. Most probably because i studied fashion for 2 years and it sparked this appreciation for fashion in me because i know how hard it is to construct a certain garment and seeing someone pulling it off is the most amazing feeling ever i swear to god! As a designer i also feel that i can relate to him as well because i love to do in depth research about a retain thing that sparks something in me and i get inspired by things around me, by the mist littlest random thing.

This is my cupboard! You must be wondering why is this the part in my room that inspires me and makes me the type of person i am. This might be the most plain thing ever but this is where its all going to start, you start your day off after shower with a plain canvas which is your body and you as your own artist/designer decides what you're going to put on to fill the plain canvas and make it look like a gorgeous artwork. Many would say that their face is their plain canvas but thats not the case for me because i don't wear make up well at least I'm not allowed to so i can't really relate to that thus the clothes that i put on for the day is my "paint" and my hands are my paint brushes defining my mood and my thoughts on the day. My cupboard is my inspiration and i get creative because i can be creative and mix & match anything i want to thus expanding my creativity.

1st Presentation!!!

Honestly, i feel like my group did a pretty good job! Despite the times when Zoey couldn't make it whenever Joey & I decided to stay back after school and even came back to school during our off day to complete the assignment but we still managed to sort things out and eventually presented in front of the whole class! I love my group members and i understand that some of us have our own things to do but sometimes we all have to sacrifice our time of going home early to be able to work together in harmony. To be honest, Joey and I was the one who came up with 90% of the ideas and it was only the 2 of us that filled up the whole mahjong paper. Despite all of that, i still loved working with my group members but i really hope that Zoey will contribute more in the future! #girlpower

THE BEST GROUP!

Hands down Adam's group, mostly Adam was super enthusiastic during the presentation and he cracked all of us up but the best group has got to go to Sarah's group because their ideas are so quirky & creative! I was super attracted to the drawings on their mahjong paper, its all so beautiful it caught my attention straight away!

THE SO-SO GROUP....

Wenhao's group was so-so but i don't blame Wenhao at all because we all, as his friends know that he had such a hard time communicating with his group members and the fact that they barely contributed, waited for Wenhao's directions instead of taking their own initiative to do the assignment. His group members are nice people, nice classmates but just because they can't really converse in english properly doesn't mean that they can be "exempted" from doing their part as a team member.

Picture of the week (week 4)

OKAYYYYYY........ Just ignore the fact that i was being the 2 years old kid in me trying to climb onto that pole while my best friend secretly took a candid picture of me but look at the bigger picture, my surroundings. Just look at how run down and old the place looks but with a touch of colour from the long fabrics being hung on the "balcony" i suppose, made is so much more attractive and less boring. This picture is so beautiful despite the fact that i'm in it, duh! HAHAH! This picture shows our life and it is also a form of art, by adding laughter and happiness into our life it makes such a huge difference for example if someone were to smile at you after having had a shitty day it would for sure make your day 10 times better than it previously was and thats the beauty in it, that little spark will become a flame. I also say that its a form of art because if an artwork has no colours, it wouldn't be boring but if only you knew the history behind the drawing like every picture that is being taken, like your surroundings, the history or the people who used to live in it will make a beautiful or dark picture. If your artwork is plain and dull it wouldn't look meaningless and boring but it wouldn't attract that much attention too but if you were to put a story behind it despite it being merely black & white, it will be much more attractive because then everyone would want to know more about it and explore deeper. Thus, this is my picture of the week.

Week 3.

During week 3 of class, we learned about brainstorming. What i learned from brainstorming is that its suppose to help u to think faster and gather more information. Brainstorming is also so that you can think spontaneously in an instant. I also learned that its mostly to focus on quantity at this moment and accept all ideas without judging or criticising one another. For the review on one out of the 3 videos, honestly 2 of them got my attention, 2 of which is Selection Attention Test & Vision-Motivational. These Selection Attention Test because I'm the type of person that concentrates on one thing and forget about the other important things around me, i focus only on the things that i want to which is why the video is so relatable to me and it reminded me to always be aware of everything instead of being selective on a certain thing. The VISION motivational video honestly got me tearing up, it is so motivational, like it pushes you forward and i really needed that reminder especially for the long run, knowing that i'll be going through stress and always having to remind myself that I'm doing this for my future and good things never comes easy. OMG!! The article is so true!! I agree that writing makes you remember things better than typing it into our mobile devices or computer! I'm gonna try out the shower idea thingy! it sound legitly cool i swear! How i wish i was living in the 18th century at this age just exploring and discovering something no one back then would have thought existed.

Picture of the week.(week 3)

This is my picture of the week, its actually captured by me in school during my sculpture workshop induction. I took it from this exact angle because u can actually see its flaws in its beauty, there are run down woods and worn out bricks. The sculpture!!! OMG! Just look at how beautiful it is even though there are some missing pieces maybe because its really old sculptures and they might have dropped or something. Thats the beautiful thing about art, it doesn't have to be perfectly shaped, created or made because at the end of the day its still a work of art, you don't have to be an artist to know art and you don't have to be a sculptor to appreciate sculptures.
